I realized I haven’t shared much about myself so I thought I would do a post today with some fun facts about me so you can get to know the girl behind the blog! I always love to read these posts and learning about other girls I follow!
1. My dream vacation would be a road trip of New England in the Fall. I would love to spend the whole season there staying in different Inn’s and B&B’s all over the states.
2. I hated our house when I first saw the listing for it. Andy had to beg me to go look at it and I finally agreed. Of course it turned out to be “the one”! I absolutely love it now that we’ve lived here for over a year.
3. My first job was working at Dairy Queen during high school. I ate ice cream every day on my break which I find hilarious because now I am SO lactose intolerant.
4. Speaking of my first job, back then I didn’t have any bills other than my car insurance, so I would spend every weekend shopping and spending my paycheck on clothes, shoes and accessories. My favorite place to shop in high school was Nordstrom and it still is today! (REALLY wish I would have put some of that money in savings though!)
5. I am not very athletic and took weight lifting for PE instead of sports during high school. The last day of school we had to play softball and I accidentally punched myself in the face (I know) and ended up not having to play. The teacher thought I had done it to get out of playing but no, I just really am that accident prone.
6. Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday. I have always been a fan of homemade costumes. My mom actually always made my costumes for me which was the best. I think in my whole life I’ve only bought a handful of costumes from the store. Even when I had to buy them, I would deck them out with different accessories to make them feel unique.
7. I am mostly Italian but it’s actually Andy who makes the best Italian food in our house. I mostly just like to eat it, not make it.
8. I have never learned to ski or snowboard even though I live within an hour and a half of the mountain. I would much rather just sit at the bar in the lodge instead and look at the snow outside.
9. My go to drink when I got out is cherry vodka and Pepsi (or coke). If they don’t have cherry vodka I will just get a vodka coke with a splash of grenadine. Everyone always thinks it’s weird but it tastes like cherry coke and everyone who I convince to try it loves it.
10. I am happiest on a gloomy, rainy day curled up on the couch with a good book, a fire and my dogs beside me.
